Hello readers,
welcome to my blog and as the title suggests, yes its all about hair, Natural Afro hair, yay! Finally! I have been meaning to start a hair blog for a long while now and instead of just thinking about it as i always do and procrastinating, i might as well just do it...now? Ermm yes...gosh i'm too lazy for my good, whew! Anyway, hopefully this blog will outlast my other blogs and actually carry content that people are interested about and want to know more about, but why hair? you might ask, well for me, i will say that hair has become a topic i can't seem to escape anymore being that i am a natural in a sea of relaxed friends and family. The irony though is that, when i was so eager to share my natural hair story with all those around me, no one really cared, most of them thought it was a phase and that i was growing out my hair so i can relax it again 0_0. Fast forward 3+ years down the line and i have sort of become to some, this 'Hair Guru' who knows so much about hair and all its craziness..which is absolutely not true. But, since i actually do tend to give out some advice and tips to friends and family, i guess i have a little bit more information, which is just what has worked for me and what hasn't, and this blog is just to share my knowledge with others but most importantly, to learn from others, there is still so much i don't know about our hair. And truth be told, i'm not as excited as i used to be about natural hair growth in fact i think i'm a little bit over it, because for me, it started as a challenge and a question, and having finally answered the question and gone through with the challenge, i think the novelty of it kind of wore off. Which is why i am starting this blog, to keep the excitement, to talk about it, to know how to take care of it and most importantly to love it as is. I hope you all join me in this new journey and make it an enjoyable and worthwhile one. Welcome:)
